December 2012 Archives

Yesterday, while being driven to Logan Airport, I spied the most amazing building out of the car window, and had to ask what it was. It turned out to be the Somerville Museum of Modern Renaissance, and if the website is to be believed, the inside is even more amazing an the outside.

Now I know that I really, really need to go visit this amazing place the next time I am in the Boston area.

In 2002, Nicholas Shaplyko and Ekaterina Sorokina purchased an old Masonic temple and began to transform it into an amazing work of art. I really look forward to seeing it in person.

UK artist Slinkachu (also of the Little People Project) has been painting wee bits of graffiti on the shells of snails, and them letting them continue on their way for the Inner City Snail.

This is one of the most charming things I have seen on the internet in a while. I do hope none of these snails runs afoul of raccoons, angry gardens, or careless wheels.
